From the artist, Eveline Ko: “I am inspired by the beauty of nature and the richness of colors you can find in the natural world. I present these inspirations through abstract forms using a variety of different methods – blowing, casting and fusing – to bring to life the essence of this natural beauty.
While visiting Suzhou China, I spotted a tree root that was very unusual, with twisted grain that looked so much like water. I had it cast in glass, using colors that brought it to life in a new way, as if it had been transformed into a new element.”
This piece is part of our Masterworks Collection, where we showcase the finest examples of contemporary glass art from the best glass artists in the world who are truly masters of their craft.
